China HGS Real Estate Inc (NASDAQ:HGSH), engaged in real estate development, in the construction and sale of residential apartments, car parks and commercial properties, was the top momentum gainer in the U.S., rising more than 146% for two-consecutive days with a five-day average daily volume of 277,419 shares. The stock price surged 578% in its 2-day trading session and closed at $2.71. The stock gained after the Chinese government implemented some measures to stabilize the real estate sector and to control property prices. The new rules include preventing the buying of second homes, increasing higher minimum down-payments and introduction of property taxes in some cities.

Cline Mining Corporation (TSX:CMK), engaged in the business of locating and exploring and developing mineral resource properties, showed a bullish momentum Thursday as investors pushed its value up by more than 15% in two consecutive trading sessions with five-day average traded volume of 5.93 million shares. With its 2-day increase of 42%, the stock price closed at C$ 0.32.
