Key Findings for the week:

• Aldridge Minerals Inc. (TSXV: AGM) was the top gainer for the week with a 20.00% gain. The company’s market capitalization rose after it published optimization study for its Yenipazar polymetallic VMS deposit in central Turkey on April 15, 2014. The study considerably reduced the project capital cost originally estimated in Yenipazar Feasibility Study in April 2013.
• The UG 50 index declined by 2.19% to close at 77.59. It underperformed TSXV index (0.10%), Gold (-1.77%) but slightly outperformed the S&P/TSX global gold index (-2.19%).
• The performance of the UG 50 constituent companies was mostly negative with only 9 out of 46 companies recording positive performance while 34 companies reported negative performance for the week. Rest of the companies did not report any change.
