In my last blog entry on October 7th, I argued that that the bull phase in copper is far from over. The most recent drop in the price of copper is suggesting softness in demand but this could only be a temporary phenomenon. August 28, 2011   After hitting a new intraday record of $1917.30 at the beginning of the last week, gold cratered by over $100 on August 24th, its biggest single day drop in over 3 years. The meteoric rise of gold that had seen it rise from $1480 in early July to over $1900 last week(an increase of over 28% within 7 weeks) had left people wondering if gold was in a parabolic rise waiting to crash. As gold futures lost heavily on a single day, many market gurus and experts weig   Read more...
